John Edwards affair with Rielle Hunter was denied furiously by Edwards when the National Enquirer broke the news. The Enquirer’s claims about the sex scandal were reported a few times and then they ramped up the affair coverage on July 22 when the tabloid reported it had confronted Edwards at a Beverly Hills, California, hotel after receiving a tip he was meeting 42-year-old Rielle Hunter and her child there. Turns out, the National Enquirer was actually right for once and had REAL NEWS!

John Edwards admitted Friday that he had an affair with Rielle Hunter in 2006. He had hired Hunter to shoot video of him for his upcoming Democratic presidential campaign. In addition to having an affair, he paid Rielle Hunter $114,000 for the video Hunter shot for his campaign.

Edwards told reporters that his wife’s widely reported cancer was in remission when the affair began. “She was mad; she was angry,” Edwards said, describing when he admitted the affair to his wife. “I think furious would be a good way to describe it.”

After much denying that the affair with Rielle Hunter even happened, John Edwards admitted to having an affair with Rielle Hunter and decided to try and finally clear the air.

In 2006, I made a serious error in judgment and conducted myself in a way that was disloyal to my family and to my core beliefs. I recognized my mistake and I told my wife that I had a liaison with another woman, and I asked for her forgiveness. Although I was honest in every painful detail with my family, I did not tell the public. When a supermarket tabloid told a version of the story, I used the fact that the story contained many falsities to deny it. But being 99 percent honest is no longer enough.

I was and am ashamed of my conduct and choices, and I had hoped that it would never become public. With my family, I took responsibility for my actions in 2006 and today I take full responsibility publicly. But that misconduct took place for a short period in 2006. It ended then. I am and have been willing to take any test necessary to establish the fact that I am not the father of any baby, and I am truly hopeful that a test will be done so this fact can be definitively established. I only know that the apparent father has said publicly that he is the father of the baby. I also have not been engaged in any activity of any description that requested, agreed to or supported payments of any kind to the woman or to the apparent father of the baby.

It is inadequate to say to the people who believed in me that I am sorry, as it is inadequate to say to the people who love me that I am sorry. In the course of several campaigns, I started to believe that I was special and became increasingly egocentric and narcissistic. If you want to beat me up — feel free. You cannot beat me up more than I have already beaten up myself. I have been stripped bare and will now work with everything I have to help my family and others who need my help.

I have given a complete interview on this matter and having done so, will have nothing more to say.

Critics wonder aloud if Edwards career in politics is over. I highly doubt it. I can think of a few other policitians that have had affairs and still they represent the people.

I mean, he’s only human and Rielle is kinda hot for an older chick!

Barbara Walters just revealed on the The Oprah Winfrey Show that in the 1970’s she had been having an affair with US Senator Edward Brooke. Senator Brooke who was married at the time and Walters who had been separated from her husband when they met at an N.Y.C. restaurant in ‘73 when she was in a busy dating phase. “Ed Brooke was simply the most attractive, sexiest, funniest, charming, and impossible man”, Barbara explained. He used to joke that “I was the oldest woman he had ever been attracted to.” She went on to write in her (She writes she was tempted to respond, “Oh yeah? Well, you are the blackest man I have ever been with.”)

Good for Barbara. Nice to see that even old-school white women still get “jungle fever” on occasion. Barbara goes in to more detail in her memoir, “Audition,”

“I was excited, fascinated, intrigued and infatuated,” Walters writes. She badly wanted to marry him, and her ultimatum prodded him to seek a divorce, she says. But friends warned the fraught ethical and racial issues could ruin both their careers; they broke up before he lost his 1978 reelection bid.

Barbara Walters goes on to say that she recieved some advice from a friend that made her realize that their secret love affair must end. “He said, ‘This is going to come out. This is going to ruin your career,”‘ then reminded her that Brooke was up for re-election a year later. “‘This is going to ruin him. You’ve got to break this off.”‘

Eliot Spitzer might have paid to have sex with Girls Gone Wild star Ashley Alexandra Dupre AND even though he lost his job and his marriage might be over but holy shit! After finding out that Dupre shot 7 tapes for Girls Gone WIld, I had to shell out the bucks to see what cost Eliot Spitzer so much.

According to a “Girls Gone Wild” press release, Ashley Alexandra Dupre visited Miami in 2003 to celebrate her 18th birthday. After fighting with a friend and getting thrown out of her hotel, Dupre found a nearby “Girls Gone Wild” bus, the company said.

She signed legal papers and spent a full week on the bus, filming seven full-length tapes which included nudity and same-sex encounters, according to the company.

“I personally ended up buying her a Greyhound bus ticket back home to North Carolina,” Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis told the AP.

I found the Girls Gone Wild videos featuring the hot Ashley Alexandra Dupre ( Real name Ashley Rae Maika DiPietro), were, I gotta admit, the best money I’ve spent in a long time.

Yeah, yeah, apparently anyone can get that ass if the money is right. It puts a great big grin on my face because unlike poor Eliot here, I cannot afford 1,000 an hour. For $29.87 I get to see what I’m missing!

She is incredible looking and yeah, if I was a guy with a extra few thousand, I’d certainly let her eat crackers in my bed!

Apparently I’m not the only one that thinks so. Hustler publisher Larry Flynt told The AP last Friday that he contacted Dupre offering her $1 million to appear nude in his magazine, but didn’t sound optimistic that she would settle for that amount. Flynt suggested that by the time Dupre starts talking, she may be too big a media phenomenon for a simple magazine spread.

“She is no doubt going to do a book. There will probably be a movie,” he said. “I think she is going to have so many offers coming in that it will probably be wishful thinking just to get in the door.”
