Do you tell or keep quiet about an affair?

That’s a helluva good question. Do you go with “What they don’t know won’t hurt them?” and say nothing about a secret affair? Or maybe you come clean one night and let the shit hit the fan.

“I had an affair.We have 3 kids.I don’t want to hurt any of them. I ended the affair. Do I tell or keep quiet ?”

That’s a tough one. I came clean about mine and it almost ruined our relationship. Many years after the fact is still comes up.

Once you break the trust of your partner it is damned near impossible to get it back. I’m still trying after over eight years.
